Don Ca Tai Tu Southern of Long An province - solutions for conservation and development

Abstract

Southern Traditional Music, abbreviated as (ĐCTT), is a traditional Southern music genre recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity (2013). Since then, each province and city in the South has a project to preserve and develop the genre according to its own implementation method, and Long An province is no exception.

Long An is a province with a ĐCTT movement that is assessed by the Ministry of Culture as a strong unit in the Southern region (2003). Over the past 20 years, the ĐCTT movement has been maintained and developed throughout the province, with 203 teams, clubs, 4,575 members performing well in serving local political tasks and the spiritual and cultural life of the people... Thereby, many clubs have achieved strong and fair performing arts quality, with significant achievements as a basis for continued preservation and development in the future.
